Renovations and Re-modeling

The art of the possible

The family room is adjacent to the kitchen because these two areas of the home are the most used. Concrete accents and walls are a nod to modern design. It is very expensive to pour a concrete ceiling and any design is always bound by a budget. So what we opted to do was have a high definition mural printed in the pattern of concrete poured in a form. Everyone, including the inspector, thought it was actual concrete and were extremely surprised by the fact that it was pretty much wallpaper. We gained the design aspect we wanted to achieve at a fraction of the cost.

Intentionality in Design

This is our dining area. If you notice the floor plan is extremely open but we still needed to define certain spaces throughout the house. The giant walnut panelled drop ceiling is suited directly in the center of the dining area to give a clear indication this is where the dining table sits.
